Information collected and how it is used

When you use the Contact form, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, a subject and a message. You must check the consent box before sending. This information is used only to respond to your request.

The message is sent by email and is not stored in the WordPress database.

Registration and external services

Program registrations and member accounts are managed by Amilia. When you follow an Amilia link, you leave the Badminton Lachine website and the provider’s privacy practices apply.

The stringing service uses WooCommerce and PPOM for orders and PayPal for payment. PayPal processes payment information. Badminton Lachine does not directly receive or store complete payment-card details.

Cookies and analytics

Strictly necessary technical cookies may be used by WordPress, WooCommerce or the ordering process. As of this update, the site uses no Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, advertising tracking or newsletter, and no marketing collection is planned.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal or administrative obligations. The club takes reasonable measures to limit access to the people and providers who need it.
